This light looks great and works very well. Even with shorter winter days this solar light provides a nice warm light for at least 3 hours after sunset.Attractiveness:We really like the appearance of this light especially at dusk where the warm light plays off the gold leaves. The hole patterns in the leaves create attractive light patterns on the deck. The "cracked" glass globe also helps with additional lighting highpoints and also give is a very nice appearance during the day. The solar panel does a nice job of "blending" in and does not detract from the piece.DurabilityThe bright shiny leaves look great and have not rusted or faded after enduring (2 months at this point) of direct sunlight and all sorts of weather. This lotus light is beautiful by day and by night. I have this one in my back yard gazebo where I bbq and it stays lit for a good number of hours. It adds ambience to the table and looks somewhat regal.
